He has had numerous exhibitions with paintings as well as drawings in the Faroe Islands, in Denmark and abroad: Sweeden, Norway, Scotland, Germany, Poland, Belgium, Great Britain, Iceland and Greenland.

Lasse Soerensen (LasseS) was born in Denmark in 1935 and lives in
the Faroe Islands, in Soervagur on one of the westernmost bigger islands, Vagoy.
He is working as a fulltime writer and painter and has travelled in many
countries, which reflects in his artwork. In addition to several books he has
also written innumerable articles for newspapers and magazines, mostly about
wildlife, hunting and fishing, and all his literary activities are illustrated
